After decades of treating illness at its peak in the emergency department, she made a powerful shift: moving upstream to prevent disease before it begins.

Now the founder of Vivant Medical in downtown Sarasota, Dr. Moise-Johnson practices a forward-thinking blend of functional, integrative, and precision medicine. I’m Dr. Daphnee Moise-Johnson, a proud graduate of the University of South Florida, College of Medicine, and a Board-Certified emergency physician with nearly 20 years of experience in the medical field. Over the years, I’ve seen countless patients come to the emergency room in critical conditions, only for their issues to reoccur due to untreated underlying health causes. This experience ignited my passion for preventive medicine, which I believe is the only true way to save lives and improve long-term health in Sarasota.

This is why I founded Vivant Medical, a wellness center in Sarasota dedicated to prevention and restoration. At Vivant, we use a powerful combination of functional medicine and regenerative treatments to address the root causes of health concerns. The name “Vivant” (meaning “Living” in French) perfectly encapsulates our mission: to help you live your healthiest, fullest life.
